Welcome to my little piece of the internet!
Most likely you clicked on this page because we haven’t met, so before anything else, nice to meet you!
I am a portrait and wedding photographer based out of Utah, and really enjoy the creative outlet photography is in my life, I always have really. Ever since I was handed a disposable camera for an elementary school field trip I was completely hooked, even if my photos from that day were only blurry leaves and grass. I began working with film young in life, and saved up for new rolls through babysitting, asked for cameras at christmas and birthdays, and kept photographing life around me. About 10 years ago I switched from film to digital and though I miss shooting film at times, I enjoy going home right after my sessions and looking at the images (what can I say, I can’t ever wait!).
After finishing school with a Master of Arts, I decided it was high time to follow my passion in life and photograph people, places, and products for a living. That was a few years ago, and I am so glad I took that leap. There is nothing more fulfilling for me than to meet up with families, or beautiful couples so in-love, and create personalized art featuring them for the walls of their homes, and for their memory albums. To help them realize their vision for their session and be their creative ally in the process from start to finish. The clients I have had are some of the sweetest and kindest people I know, and I feel grateful for the chance I have to meet all these good people via photography and tell their story through my lens. I am predominantly a natural light photographer, though I have no qualms using flash every now and again when the occasion calls for it.
When my camera is put away, I enjoy reading mystery novels and poetry, running, painting, baking (hence the running haha!), traveling the world, being a wife to my wonderful husband, and a mother to my vivacious little two year old girl. Thanks again for stopping by, I hope you stick around for a bit and even better–come back again soon!
