We had such a good time with this session, and maybe because I am the kid’s aunt I am a bit biased, but they are some of the cutest and sweetest kids I know! We met up at Wheeler Farm for a short family session, and I am so happy with how these turned out. Since both are so young, we kept the posed photos to a minimum and instead relied on more of a lifestyle feel to their session. It is so much easier to keep little toddlers happy and engaged when there is laughter, tickles, games, and running in the mix!
When we finished the session over at the river, I was so excited to come home and look at the photos because sometimes things just work during sessions and you know what is in your camera is really good! I was most excited for the photos of the swinging around with my nephew and brother. Really though, I loved giving these back because they illustrate perfectly life at this stage, and documented the fun of having little ones while still getting a few posed photos of the family and mom and dad alone. Thank you again Aten family for hiring me to take your portraits this year! It was so fun!
